Regional Manager - Ground Investigation

Job Description

Regional Manager - Ground Investigation
Location: Coventry, UK
Salary: Competitive

A leading UK ground investigation company is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead and grow its Midlands operation. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional to take on a senior leadership role within a respected organisation that values technical excellence, innovation, and strong team culture. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of major infrastructure projects across the UK.
The role involves full responsibility for regional performance, including financial management, team leadership, and project delivery. You will oversee tendering, reporting, and client relationships while maintaining the highest standards of quality and technical integrity. Leading a skilled and growing team, you'll provide mentorship and ensure professional development opportunities are realised across the business.
We're looking for someone with a solid background in ground investigation, ideally with a degree in geology, civil engineering, or a related discipline. You should have extensive experience of UK ground conditions, investigation methods, and laboratory testing, as well as confidence in using relevant geotechnical software. Strong communication and project management skills, together with a meticulous approach to quality and safety, are essential.
In return, the company offers a competitive salary, a company car, private healthcare, and a flexible benefits package. You'll have the opportunity to work on nationally significant infrastructure projects, develop your career through continuous professional development, and contribute to a culture that values expertise, innovation, and collaboration.
This organisation is part of a wider group of integrated environmental and engineering businesses that operate across multiple sectors. The group is committed to fostering a people-first culture, where talent is developed and rewarded, and where diversity, flexibility, and inclusion are core values.
If you're an experienced professional ready to take the next step in your career and lead a thriving regional team, this is your chance to make a real impact on the future of UK infrastructure and the environment.
