1 day The Association for Consultancy & Engineering (ACE) has chosen Milda Manomaityte as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 2nd March 2026.

Milda Manomaityte will be the Association for Consultancy & Engineering’s fifth chief executive in just eight years.

Manomaityte will succeed Kate Jennings, who is stepping down in March after two years in the job, which seems to have become par for the association.

Nelson Ogunshakin had been chief executive of the ACE for fourteen and a half years when he left in 2018. Since then, however, the organisation has seen considerably churn at the top with no one staying for long. Hannah Vickers managed two and a half years in the job, then Stephen Marcos Jones for two years, then Kate Jennings for two years, and now there is another one.

Like Jennings before here, Manomaityte is joining the ACE from the Railway Industry Association, where she has worked for seven years, latterly as chief operating officer. Before that she was a journalist on trade magazines, initially in her native Lithuania, before moving to the UK in 2007.

Kate Jennings said: “It has been a pleasure to lead ACE Group through such an important period… ACE Group has grown in strength with a new leadership team who will continue to work with Milda on delivering for members and championing infrastructure. I wish Milda every success in this important role.â€

Milda Manomaityte said: “I am delighted to be joining ACE Group at such an important moment for the sector. I look forward to delivering the three-year business plan, while building on ACE’s strong foundations to ensure it continues to be a trusted, influential voice for the future of infrastructure.â€

The ACE Group includes the Environmental Industries Commission (EIC) as well as the Association for Consultancy & Engineering (still better known to older readers as the Association of Consulting Engineers).
