Milda Manomaityte will be the Association for Consultancy & Engineering鈥檚 fifth chief executive in just eight years.
Manomaityte will succeed Kate Jennings, who is stepping down in March after two years in the job, which seems to have become par for the association.
Nelson Ogunshakin had been聽chief executive of聽the ACE for fourteen and a half years when he left聽in 2018. Since then, however,聽the organisation has seen considerably churn at the top with no one staying for long. Hannah Vickers managed two and a half years in the job, then Stephen Marcos Jones for two years, then Kate Jennings for two years, and now there is another one.
Like Jennings before here, Manomaityte is joining the ACE from the Railway Industry Association, where she has worked for seven years, latterly as chief operating officer. Before that she was a journalist on trade magazines, initially in her native Lithuania, before moving to the UK in 2007.

The ACE Group includes the Environmental Industries Commission (EIC) as well as the Association for Consultancy & Engineering (still better known to older readers as the Association of Consulting Engineers).
