What Sets You Apart

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; CPA or equivalent is an advantage

At least 3-4 years of hands-on experience as a Generalist Accountant or Tax Accountant supporting US or Australian clients

For AU-focused roles: Solid understanding of BAS, IAS, and Australian tax cycles

For US-focused roles: Strong proficiency in US GAAP, sales tax, and federal and state filing requirements

Software proficiency in cloud accounting platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or Sage

Strong analytical mindset with the ability to engage junior to senior accountants and identify technical inconsistencies a non-finance recruiter may miss

Amenable to working in a hybrid work setup

How You'll Make an Impact

Conduct in-depth technical interviews to assess proficiency in US GAAP or AU tax and accounting standards

Review and validate written technical assessments against real client workflows

Identify and engage high-potential accounting professionals for offshore US or AU roles

Partner with hiring managers to refine role requirements and technical benchmarks

Serve as a peer-level technical authority for candidates, clearly articulating role expectations
