Sturgis Shattock & Partners was established in 1990 and comprises a wholly independent firm of chartered surveyors specialising in commercial and industrial land and property. The practice has offices in New Walk, Leicester close to the city centre with on-site car parking for clients. The mainline railway station is only a five minutes walk away.

In 2003 in common with many legal and surveying private practices, Sturgis Shattock & Partners became a Limited Liability Partnership. The three former partners, now members - David G. Sturgis BSc. FRICS, Timothy A. Shattock BSc. ARICS and David W. Flatley BSc. (Hons) FRICS. - remain committed to providing a highly personal service to both corporate and private clients.

Development

Establishing a development need, seeking out development opportunities, undertaking development appraisals and working with other members of the professional/design team to bring schemes forward.

Agency

The disposal of freehold and leasehold property by whatever is considered to be the most appropriate method in any case. The seeking out and acquisition of commercial property to meet specific requirements.

Landlord & Tenant

The negotiation of rent reviews and lease renewals with presentations to independent third parties or court where necessary. The preparation of schedules of dilapidations and negotiating their settlement. Where necessary appearing in court as expert witnesses.

Property Management

Administering commercial property portfolios held for investment purposes. A separate account in the name of each management client is held for the better administration of clients' money and apportionment of interest. All monies held on behalf of clients are bonded by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Valuations

For acquisition, sale, insurance, loan, accounts or tax purposes.
