Our main business is crane hire, with CITB qualified drivers responsible for operating cranes from 15 to 70 tonnes in capacity. In addition, our dedicated personnel, many of whom are also qualified Slinger/Signallers and Appointed Persons can plan, organise and supervise lifts under 'contract lift' conditions.

Shires Crane Hire also offer a machinery removal and installation service providing a wide range of equipment to cater for various types of workshop machinery including injection moulding machines, lathes and overhead cranes.

With crane repairs and testing, including the complete rebuilding and examination of equipment carried out by trained engineers, as well as the sale of second-hand cranes, Shires Crane Hire is the "one stop shop" when it comes to cranes.
