Supplier days for £5.4bn framework

4 hours Procurement agency Southern Construction Framework is planning a series of meetings to prepares the way for an upcoming £5.4bn tender.

Supplier days are being run next month by Southern Construction Framework (SCF) in Exeter and Winchester.

These events, aimed at both southwest and southeast suppliers, are part of early market engagement for its upcoming SCF 6 framework, which is valued at an estimated £5.4bn.

The events, which are free to attend, are part of a wider programme of regional engagement being delivered by Devon County Council and Hampshire County Council, who are jointly re-procuring the Southern Construction Framework, before the current framework’s expiry in 2027.

The southeast session will take place on Monday 2nd March in Winchester; the southwest session will take place on Tuesday 10th March 2026 at County Hall, Exeter. The meetings are designed to give suppliers the opportunity to gain an understanding of the proposed direction of SCF 6 and the framework’s approach to construction delivery across the region.

SCF 6 is intended to support public sector construction projects above £1 million in value and will be structured around geographic and value based lots, continuing SCF’s role in supporting public sector construction across the southwest, southeast and London.

Head of SCF South West, Kingsley Clarke said: “These sessions are fantastic opportunities for suppliers to contribute to the shaping of the framework ahead of procurement, and we look forward to welcoming suppliers across the region for what will be an insightful morning.â€
