Rula has appointed Hartlepool-based Seymour Civil Engineering as principal contractor to deliver its Teeslink logistics scheme, which is to be phased in line with market demand.

The first phase includes infrastructure works for site access roads and plateau creation to enable serviced development plots with outline planning principals already agreed.

The 54-acre site, adjacent to Eaglescliffe railway station and one mile from the A66, was bought by Stockton-on-Tees Council in 2021 with money from the Tees Valley Combined Authority’s Indigenous Growth Fund (IGF). Following a competitive tender process, Rula Developments was selected as developer.
