Knights Brown has appointed Simon Osborne as divisional director for water, completing a restructure initiated last year.
Osborne joins Knights Brown from MWH Treatment and will head its newly formed water division. He had joined MWH in July 2024 after 18 years with Wessex Water
The appointment of Osborne finalises a reorganisation that established four independent divisions: Water, Energy, Southern & Southeast, and Wales.
聽The creation of a standalone water division positions the company for the start of AMP8 regulatory asset management period, for which it appears on three frameworks:
- D诺r Cymru Welsh Water (DCWW) across Wales
- YTL Wessex Water (YTL) in Dorset, Somerset, Bristol, Wiltshire and parts of Gloucestershire and Hampshire
- Northumbrian Water (NWL) in Essex and Suffolk.
Mobilisation for AMP8 is under way across all three frameworks.

聽Knights Brown鈥檚 results for the 2025 financial year showed pre-tax profit up 85% to 拢3.9m and a 15% increase in turnover to 拢116m.
