We are partnered with a leading commercial electrical contractor with a strong presence across the Southwest, delivering high-quality electrical installations on complex commercial and industrial projects. With continued growth across Oklahoma, they are expanding their field leadership team and seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee multiple commercial job sites throughout the state.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on field leader who thrives in fast-paced commercial environments and is comfortable traveling to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Field Leadership & Supervision

路 Provide on-site leadership for commercial electrical projects across Oklahoma, ensuring all field operations run efficiently and safely.

路 Supervise foremen, electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors to maintain productivity and quality standards.

路 Coordinate daily and weekly work plans with project management and general contractors.

路 Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies.

Project Coordination & Communication

路 Serve as the primary field contact between project management, general contractors, inspectors, and clients.

路 Coordinate inspections and ensure all work complies with local codes and project specifications.

路 Review drawings and specifications to ensure accurate field execution.

路 Identify and proactively resolve field conflicts to avoid delays.

Schedule & Productivity Management

路 Develop and maintain short-term look-ahead schedules in coordination with project managers.

路 Monitor manpower levels and adjust crews to maintain project timelines.

路 Track labor productivity and implement corrective actions when necessary.

路 Ensure material deliveries are scheduled and staged to support workflow.

Cost & Change Management

路 Identify scope changes and assist in pricing and documenting change orders.

路 Monitor field labor hours and material usage to support budget control.

路 Provide accurate field reports and updates to project management.

Quality Control & Project Closeout

路 Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets company and client standards.

路 Manage punch list completion and ensure timely project closeout.

路 Oversee testing, commissioning, and final inspections as required.

Qualifications

路 Current Oklahoma State Electrical Journeyman License or equivalent experience.

路 8+ years of experience in commercial electrical construction with at least 3+ years in a supervisory role.

路 Experience managing commercial projects ranging from $5M-$30M preferred.

路 Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, tools, and safety practices.

路 OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain.

路 Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project schedules.

路 Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

路 Willingness to travel extensively throughout Oklahoma.

路 Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check and MVR check.
