Job Description
An established high-end residential consultancy based in Battersea are searching for a highly professional Senior Project Manager that brings strong experience delivering the full lifecycle of schemes in the high-end residential sector and within a construction consultancy.
The Company that the Senior Project Manager will join:
The Senior Project Manager will be joining a growing construction consultancy that have built a reputation for delivering high end schemes in the prise residential sector. The Senior Project Manager will be running multiple programmes of works which includes both new build and refurbishments with contract values as high as £125m.
The Senior Project Manager role:
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of projects from start-finish, whilst providing support to junior members of the project management division. The Senior Project Manager will be working within a team of 25 consultants, including a Project Director, Associate Directors, Senior Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Junior Project Managers and Commercial Managers.
You will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with whole Project Management team to drive schemes forward to completion
- Communicating with external parties such as contractors and sub-contractors
- Provide support/mentorship to junior members of the Project Management team
- Reporting progress feedback on Projects to the Project Director weekly
- Reviewing costs regularly to ensure Schemes are within Budget constraints
- Arranging meetings with clients
- Ensure all works are compliant with safety and quality standards
Senior Project Manager requirements:
- Previous experience working at a UK consultancy
- high-end residential sector experience
- A Full Member of RICS (MRICS)
- BSc/MSc Project Management
- Pre and post contract experience
- Confident at managing schemes simultaneously
- Previous experience leading a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
