As an Associate Product Specialist, you will support product development, launch execution, and lifecycle management for assigned products. You will collaborate with marketing, sales, supply chain, and brand teams to track performance, maintain product data accuracy, and drive go-to-market initiatives.

  • The Qualifications We Seek

    Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing including analytics
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Experience managing multiple deliverables and deadlines
  • Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
  • Strong PowerPoint presentation skills

  • Your Daily Tasks

    Product Lifecycle Management

  • Manage product lifecycle for assigned products across U.S., Canada, and UK channels.
  • Collect vendor and product manager information for item setup, including weight, dimensions, costs, product images, substitutions, and discontinuations with assigned reason codes.
  • Complete system updates in NetSuite to ensure accurate item master data.
  • Run sales and profit reports from Profit Optics.
  • Populate, maintain, and update the PIM tool on a weekly basis.
  • Go-To-Market Execution

  • Execute go-to-market initiatives supporting new and focused products.
  • Develop product literature, launch packets, and PowerPoint materials.
  • Provide website content updates and perform weekly website updates as needed.
  • Analytics & Reporting

  • Track key metrics including monthly product sales and gross profit performance versus targets.
  • Monitor discontinuation reporting and weekly project timeline tracking.
  • Measure standardization success by pulling and analyzing data.
  • Identify item substitutes for discontinued products.
  • Track item setup timelines and key initiative success based on sales targets.
  • Analyze product performance using sales data through Profit Optics and BI tools.
  • Surface actionable insights from findings to support growth initiatives.
  • Sales & Cross-Functional Support

  • Assist sales teams daily with product-related inquiries by researching data through the website, ERP (NetSuite), sourcing teams, brand teams, or vendors.
  • Provide comprehensive cross-reference lists for sales and national accounts teams by identifying competitive product equivalents.
  • Support product managers with reporting, product information, and analysis to develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps aligned with company goals.
  • Conduct market and competitor research through online research and user feedback from sales teams and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
  • Identify growth opportunities within the assigned product portfolio.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams including segment marketing, digital marketing, brand, data management, finance, and sourcing to ensure timely project delivery and fulfillment of commitments to customers and stakeholders.

  • Grow new product sales within assigned categories
  • Respond to sales inquiries within 24 hours
  • Complete IDSC and discontinuation processes weekly
  • Complete NPIs and onboarding activities within agreed timelines
