Your Role in Action

Be part of our client's team as a Network Engineer, where you manage, optimize, and secure critical health and wellness networks. You will configure and maintain routers, switches, and VPNs, troubleshoot issues, ensure compliance, and improve network infrastructure-keeping digital systems seamless while supporting patient care and organizational efficiency.

  • What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience working with network infrastructure
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing conditions and priorities
  • Strong technical understanding of LANs, WANs, VPNs, TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS, cybersecurity standards, and firewall policies
  • Centralized cloud administration experience (Meraki preferred)
  • Previously implemented new technologies
  • Knowledge of Linux systems and various open-source solutions
  • Your Daily Impact

  • Perform system patching and vulnerability management
  • Document network and dependencies
  • Investigate reported issues and perform root cause analysis
  • Triage and respond to Technology Operations incidents and requests
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and other system alerts
  • Maintain network components including routers, switches, and other physical hardware
  • Install and configure network equipment
  • Provide system maintenance, including log monitoring, backups, and configuration management
  • Collaborate to ensure corporate compliance requirements are met for PCI-DSS, GDPR, ISO, Data Loss Prevention, and Data Retention
  • Administer and continuously improve Cisco AnyConnect VPN Security
  • Administer and continuously improve Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
  • Administer and continuously improve Cisco Secure Internet Gateway (SIG)
  • Identify opportunities across all infrastructure for "Zero-Trust" methodology
  • Ensure network infrastructure aligns with compliance requirements
  • Performance and Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain 99.9% or better uptime for all managed systems
  • Adhere to change management best practices and quality control for system/environment changes
  • Maintain agreed-upon service levels for incident management response and resolution
  • Maintain system documentation as part of projects, enhancements, and incident solutions moved to production
